Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across California and surrounding states using modern fleet vehicles
- Adapt to flexible scheduling with morning, afternoon, or night shift options
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of specialized freight when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling requirements
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
