Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to local residences and businesses using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Optimize routes for efficient on-time deliveries using GPS technology
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage inventory and handle cash transactions when applicable
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Basic math skills for delivery verification and cash handling
- Reliable transportation to/from daily shift locations
- Pass background check and drug screening
