Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage route optimization and delivery scheduling within flexible hours
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and customer communication
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for load assignments and pickup scheduling
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Maximize route efficiency to increase weekly mileage and earnings
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio metro area and surrounding regions
- Reliable personal box truck (2005+ model, under 26,000 lbs GVWR)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for on-road repairs
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication access
- Ability to work independently and manage flexible scheduling
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
