Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and local routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS and navigation systems
- Inspect and maintain vehicle condition before/after trips
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and paperwork
- Represent the company professionally with clients and vendors
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Basic knowledge of trip planning and logbook management
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight travel and variable schedules
