Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles on multi-state routes
- Plan efficient delivery schedules using GPS navigation systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate warehouse teams for seamless loading/unloading
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status via electronic tracking systems
- Handle hazardous materials endorsements when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Washington State road regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
