Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van and refrigerated) across designated routes
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and document maintenance records
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and load management
- Ensure secure handling of freight and proper documentation
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse personnel
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer steps
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
