Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 trucks (dry van/refrigerated) on regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Load/unload shipments with proper documentation handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Represent company brand through professional conduct
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current medical card and TWIC card (or ability to obtain)
- Proven safe driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and route planning
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Flexible schedule including overnight stays
