Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery
- Secure cargo and maintain proper documentation (BOLs, permits)
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California route systems and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight stays on multi-day routes
