Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to designated locations according to established routes and schedules
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and address client inquiries professionally
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting delivery time windows
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Customer-focused attitude with strong communication abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Basic computer literacy for using delivery tracking systems
