Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to residential and commercial locations throughout Oakland
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Load and unload merchandise efficiently while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and optimize routes for time efficiency
- Report vehicle maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- 1+ year of professional driving or delivery experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Oakland streets and Bay Area geography
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic math proficiency for inventory and delivery documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
