Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods on designated routes throughout Miami-Dade County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments using proper equipment techniques
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle defects promptly to fleet management
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience in commercial vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate pallet jacks/dollies
- Strong knowledge of Miami-Dade County roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- DOT medical certification and willingness to pass background checks
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and delivery apps
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
