Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and manage daily route schedules
- Load/unload freight with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation
- Resolve delivery exceptions with proactive customer communication
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting tight deadlines
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Charlotte area
- DOT medical certification current
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Background check and drug screening required
