Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods along designated routes while adhering to DOT regulations
- Optimize daily delivery schedules using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of service
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication and problem-solving
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with route familiarity
- Proficient in using navigation apps and delivery management software
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate in varied weather conditions
- Strong time-management skills with attention to detail and safety protocols
- Excellent customer service demeanor with conflict resolution abilities
