Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across Southern California
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading processes
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time tracking and communication
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for digital logbooks and communication tools
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including early mornings and weekends
