Responsibilities
- Safely operate personal box truck for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage route optimization and delivery timelines independently
- Maintain vehicle compliance (DOT inspections, maintenance logs)
- Coordinate with dispatch team for load assignments and updates
- Ensure secure cargo handling and proper documentation
- Build client relationships through professional on-site interactions
- Submit timely delivery reports and expense documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable late-model box truck (24-26ft preferred)
- Smartphone with GPS and data capabilities
- Basic accounting software knowledge for expense tracking
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
