Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks for regional freight transport
- Maintain meticulous trip logs and compliance documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading with proper protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and DOT safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional freight experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Strong geographical knowledge of Southwest routes
- Pass comprehensive background/drug screening
