Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight within Wisconsin and Midwest region
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and delays
- Document all delivery transactions and maintain route documentation
- Operate in various weather conditions while maintaining delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Milwaukee metro area and Midwest highways
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
