Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Accurately complete shipping documents and electronic logging systems
- Coordinate with dispatchers and clients for timely deliveries and pickups
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
- Provide exceptional customer service during all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Pacific Northwest routes and traffic patterns
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Basic understanding of cargo securement techniques
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- DOT-mandated qualifications (medical card, TWIC card preferred)
