Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-state freight transport
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to DOT regulations and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques using straps and tarps
- Utilize telematics systems for real-time tracking and communication
- Document delivery receipts and resolve minor customer inquiries
- Maintain clean driving record and safety certifications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Current DOT medical certification and HazMat endorsement preferred
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana/Arkansas/Texas highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Proficient in electronic logging devices and basic navigation tech
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Minimum age 25 with clean 3-year driving history
- Pass background check and drug screening
