Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles to transport goods across Southern California
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery schedules and routes
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Southern California roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- DOT physical certification and required medical documentation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
