Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across Oahu
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient route planning
- Verify cargo documentation and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload shipments using appropriate equipment
- Communicate delivery status and resolve any transit issues
- Maintain clean driving record and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of Hawaii roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks
- Strong time management and communication skills
- DOT physical certification current
- Pass background check and drug screening
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
