Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely to transport construction materials (gravel, asphalt, dirt) to job sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate daily vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Support emergency response operations during severe weather events
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Orlando metro area and construction zones
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent communication and time management skills
