Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment on construction sites
- Transport materials (gravel, asphalt, debris) between job sites and disposal facilities
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors and fellow drivers for efficient operations
- Navigate complex urban and industrial routes using GPS technology
- Support emergency response operations during inclement weather
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker endorsement
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Basic equipment troubleshooting knowledge
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
