Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt) to job sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient material unloading
- Maintain clean and compliant vehicles daily
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks and report mechanical issues
- Support weekend and occasional overtime shifts as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and physical exam
- Familiarity with Bay Area traffic patterns and construction zones
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
