Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (gravel, sand, debris)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Navigate complex job sites and urban routes with precision
- Complete delivery documentation and maintain accurate records
- Represent the company professionally with clients and contractors
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of San Diego County geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and time management skills
