Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy machinery on construction sites and haul routes
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our mobile app
- Collaborate with dispatch team via remote communication tools for route optimization
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Train on new technologies including telematics and digital dispatch systems
- Support community infrastructure projects with pride and professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Proficient in using smartphones/tablets for digital documentation
- Strong knowledge of Columbus metro area and surrounding counties
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills for remote team collaboration
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions
