Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (gravel, asphalt, debris) to job sites
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols for all operations
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors to ensure timely deliveries
- Secure and tarp loads according to safety standards
- Operate truck-mounted equipment for loading/unloading operations
- Document delivery receipts and material transfer documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and substance screening
- Knowledge of local Lexington/Fayette County roadways
- Strong commitment to safety compliance and accident prevention
- Ability to work in varied weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for on-road repairs
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
