Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and waste across NYC boroughs
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all hauls
- Collaborate with site supervisors to optimize loading/unloading operations
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and NYC traffic regulations
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck driving experience
- Familiarity with NYC streets, boroughs, and construction zones
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
