Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to job sites
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, pre-trip checks, and basic maintenance troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each transport assignment
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Coordinate with dispatch team to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Load/unload materials using proper techniques and equipment
- Operate in various weather conditions and terrain types
- Represent the company professionally with clients and project managers
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 3 years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and route planning in the Greensboro area
- Strong understanding of weight distribution and securement procedures
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and occasional weekends
