Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (gravel, sand, asphalt) to job sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks on company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic tracking systems
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and local traffic laws
- Collaborate with dispatch teams to optimize routes and meet delivery deadlines
- Assist with basic loading/unloading operations at material distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating dump trucks or heavy equipment
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and material types
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and occasional weekends
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning
