Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, aggregates, and debris to job sites
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and local traffic laws
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient routing and on-time deliveries
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
- Report maintenance issues promptly to fleet management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks in commercial settings
- Ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
- Familiarity with Toledo-area routes and industrial zones
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic GPS navigation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
