Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks (10-20 yard capacity) on construction sites and haul roads
- Transport aggregates, asphalt, and construction materials per project specifications
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle conditions
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading
- Operate in diverse Alaskan conditions including snow, ice, and gravel surfaces
- Assist with minor equipment maintenance as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Alaska DOT regulations and haul road protocols
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
