Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A dump trucks for material transport at construction sites
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and DOT safety regulations
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Assist in route planning to optimize delivery schedules
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with all licensing requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 3 years dump truck operation experience
- DOT medical certification and clean MVR
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
