Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, gravel, and debris
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for efficient routing
- Load/unload materials using proper equipment and techniques
- Conduct minor vehicle maintenance checks and report issues
- Maintain clean and organized truck cab and equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Familiarity with Corpus Christi and surrounding areas
