Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely to transport construction materials, debris, and waste
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Manage route optimization to meet tight delivery schedules
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate repairs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong knowledge of Newark area roadways and traffic patterns
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Physical ability to climb ladders and operate heavy equipment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
