Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and related heavy equipment for material transport
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete daily maintenance logs
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes while managing delivery schedules and deadlines
- Coordinate with site supervisors and construction teams for seamless operations
- Document materials transported and maintain accurate delivery records
- Assist with minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks or heavy haul vehicles
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of local St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay area roadways
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Basic equipment troubleshooting knowledge preferred
