Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport sand, gravel, asphalt, and demolition debris
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for each haul
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate loading/unloading schedules
- Operate in various weather conditions and terrains
- Report mechanical issues and maintain clean vehicle appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks or heavy haulers
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Knowledge of Metro Detroit roadways and construction sites
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong attention to safety and detail-oriented mindset
