Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods across the Houston metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred
- Proven experience in last-mile delivery or logistics (minimum 1 year)
- Strong knowledge of Houston's roadways and navigation systems
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
