Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck for local/regional deliveries in Houston area
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch for load assignments
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Manage inventory and secure cargo properly
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B license (A preferred)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Reliable box truck in good condition
- Proof of commercial auto insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with mobile dispatch apps
