Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and Houston traffic laws
- Efficiently navigate Houston's diverse neighborhoods using GPS technology
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication logs
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Handle high-value, temperature-sensitive, and oversized packages
- Represent SwiftLogistics with professionalism during customer interactions
- Adapt to dynamic delivery schedules and priority requests
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Houston area streets and major highways
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Flexibility for early morning start times (5:00 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
