Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and food orders to residential and commercial locations across Detroit
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Verify order accuracy and maintain customer satisfaction through professional communication
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and inventory management
- Maintain clean, organized vehicle interior and exterior
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to operate standard transmission vehicles (if required)
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Detroit metro area
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Customer service-oriented with professional communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during shifts
