Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company protocols
- Load, unload, and verify package integrity at multiple stops daily
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and pickups
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adapt routes efficiently using GPS navigation in real-time traffic conditions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with commercial vehicles or delivery operations preferred
- Strong knowledge of Detroit metro area and surrounding suburbs
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
