Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and food orders within designated Columbus neighborhoods
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for high-value shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrival and maximize fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle inquiries professionally
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and maintain organized cargo space
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar logistics role
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and navigate multi-story buildings
- Strong knowledge of Columbus streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
