Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within designated time windows
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures as required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely service
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries professionally
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and maintaining vehicle cleanliness
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
