Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and merchandise to customers across Detroit using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time performance
- Handle cash transactions and payment processing accurately
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Detroit metro area geography
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
