Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, food, and retail goods across Milwaukee County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and inventory management
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Milwaukee metropolitan area and surrounding suburbs
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service aptitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
