Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages on strict timelines
- Plan optimal routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Verify package integrity and documentation upon pickup/delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer communication records
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Adhere to all DC traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC metropolitan area
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Flexibility to work occasional early morning/late evening shifts
