Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and documents across Raleigh and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during package pickups and drop-offs
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Assist with loading/unloading packages requiring physical handling
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile tracking applications
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities for client interactions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
