Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and documents throughout NYC
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain recipient signatures
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to meet tight deadlines
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding delivery status
- Handle fragile and time-sensitive packages with extreme care
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Driver's License with clean record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Previous courier or delivery experience preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
