Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages, documents, and medical supplies throughout Long Beach County
- Maintain precise delivery records and obtain electronic signatures
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and operate power equipment
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic tech systems
- Strong knowledge of Long Beach and surrounding areas
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
